This Week's Homework: September 2nd-5th 2014

 I wanted to give you an update on this week's homework.

-There will be NO fluency homework due to the short week.
-There will be regular spelling, dictation, and high frequency words, book report and Word of the Week.

You should have seen a blue Weekly Homework Score sheet that was sent home. If your child still has work to turn in from last week, they will be given credit for all correct answers. 

 Road to Success:

Please make sure to sign your child up for Road to Success under my name, and the code I sent home last week. Every year you have to register your child under the new teacher's name. The 2nd grade teachers are only accepting this form of at home reading credit through the Road to Success website. Second graders are old enough to learn how to go on to the site and put in their own reading days and books read. If you need a new registration slip, please send me an email.

Tomorrow is Dibels testing in the morning(10:00 a.m.). Please make sure that your child is there,well rested and ready for this important reading test that is done 3xs a year.
